How to Get Special travel tips for Flying to Las Vegas

Flying to Las Vegas

I once went on a cheap men’s trip with five others in a room at the now-defunct San Remo, a run-down low-cost hotel and casino.

I was traveling with my fiancée and two other friends when I got engaged in Las Vegas after a night of drinking a lot of beer.

1. The Mid-strip Is the Center of Activity

If you choose to stay in the Mid- Strip region of Las Vegas, you will be close to the action and able to stroll about everything. The Stratosphere Hotel at the north end of Las Vegas Boulevard and Mandalay Bay at the south end, which is around four miles away, are both included in the Las Vegas Strip.

The Bellagio, Mirage, Harrah’s, Bally’s, Planet Hollywood, Wynn, the Venetian, and other well-known casinos may be found near Mid-Strip, which is about where Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road meet. There are also a ton of excellent dining options there for every budget.

This most recent visit is one of several occasions we have stayed at the Flamingo Hotel Casino. The resort was originally operated by Bugsy Siegel and mobsters from the infamous Murder Inc. group and dates back to 1948, when it was the first upscale hotel on the main Strip.

2. Great Places to Get Free Items

Whether we were out and about attempting to locate a new lunch spot or performing a casino crawl to investigate the enormous complexes and their fascinating features, we covered a lot of miles simply walking the Las Vegas Strip. Select a day to travel north and another to travel south. Other than individuals, you’ll see a variety of fascinating sights (believe me, people watching in Vegas is a leisure pastime in and of itself).

3. Excellent for Low-Cost Foods

Don’t forget to pick up those coupon books you’ll see everywhere. They are distributed on the streets, and you’ll likely find a book or two in your room as well as racks of them in the lobby of your hotel. Depending on what kind of food you’re craving and where you could be in the city when it’s mealtime, they have a ton of 2-for-1 offers and other savings that are worth taking into account. (Although I wouldn’t change my plans for any of these sporadic hot dog or shrimp cocktail specials, you never know when you might need a coupon book, so always keep one on hand.)

4. Where to Get Inexpensive Drinks

Enjoy the Sunday brunch at Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood. A wide variety of delectable breakfast and lunch options, along with unlimited mimosas or Champagne, are available for $18.

The $1 Michelob beer bottle deal at Casino Royale, which is located on the same side as the Flamingo Hotel and just down the Strip to the north, is another favorite of ours and many others. In order to attract players, this small casino also serves $0.75 Coors Light drafts and $1 Michelob Light bottles. Those pricing are just unbeatable, and the walk down is worthwhile for a few cold ones and a few roulette wheel spins.
